Dark in color with a mild black cherry nose. On the mid palate the wine displays some lovely varietal cab franc cherry notes along with some mild pepper. On the medium length finish the wine displays some soft tannins and acidity. This is a super food friendly, entry level, approachable cab franc. If your looking for a Cab Franc to introduce someone to it, this is a great choice. If you prefer a big bold in your face Cab Franc, ya this isn’t that. I would give it an -88.
