Mt. Monster Cabernet 2017

Dark in color with aa mild dark cherry nose. On the mid palate the wine displays some nice dark cherries along with some almost blueberry notes. On the medium length finish the wine displays some nice vibrant peppery notes and firm acidity. I would give it an 88 or so. Not a bad wine at all. We paired it with a striploin and it went fine. Mt. Monster Cabernet 2017 from LCBO

Charming and friendly, this attractively expressed cabernet shows dark plum, blackberry, warm spice and roasted nut aromas on the nose. It’s flavoursome and mouthfilling on the palate with ripe fruit intensity backed by silky tannins, making it immediately appealing. At its best: now to 2022. Score – 92.
