Durigutti Cabernet Franc 2017

Dark in color with a mild dark cherry nose. On the mid palate the wine displays some nice dark cherries to match the nose along with some firm peppery notes, vibrant acidity and some mocha, nice and dry. Not a bad Cab Franc and much less mild than previous Argentinian cab francs. I would give it an -88. From the LCBO check stock:

This is very floral and inviting on the nose with notes of rosemary, violets, lavender, citrus, orange peel and boysenberries, as well as lots of spicy undertones. Full-bodied and really seductive with tightly-wound, grainy tannins, vibrant acidity and a long, succulent finish. Drink in 2021. Score – 94.
