CREW Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

I last reviewed the Merlot from Crew and was impressed. This one is inky dark in color with a mild dark berry nose. On the mid palate the wine displays some big bold edgy black fruits, strong peppery notes, firm acidity, noticeable alcohol and super dry tannins. If your looking for a soft, elegant wine, meh, this ain’t for you 🙁 In some ways the wine reminds me of some of the big edgy Niagara reds of 10 years ago.
