Quails’ Gate Dry Riesling 2018

Pale in color with a varietal honeysuckle nose. On the mid palate the wine is nice and dry, crisp, with honey suckle being the dominant flavor. On the medium length finish the wine has some nice crisp minerality, some citrus notes and lively acidity. The wine has some nice mouth grip. We had it with BBQ sauced pulled pork and it held up well. The acidity is particularly noticeable as it warms up where it beautifully coats the palate with flavors! I would give it an -88. Quite a good dry riesling. The LCBO say aromatic and flavorful, I agree totally, perfect description. From the LCBO web site: Check stock
