Chateau Ste. Michelle Rosé 2018

Strawberry in color with a mild nose. On the mid palate the wine displays some nice lively acidity, some tart rhubarb like notes, along with some mild citrus notes. On the medium length finish the wine displays some nice palate coating minerality. I would give it an -88. Quite a nice rose with some nice complexity and bite 🙂

Image for Chateau Ste. Michelle Rosé 2018 from LCBO

Made from a blend of Syrah and Merlot, this is built like a red wine with a touch more delicacy and brightness. It’s lively and polished with aromas and flavours of red apple, watermelon, cherry and rhubarb, and a long, balanced finish. Best now through 2021 with grilled pork or lamb burgers.
