Dark in color with a nice black cherry nose. On the mid palate the wine displays some lovely expressive black cherries to match the nose. On the medium length finish the wine displays firm peppery notes, tannins and acidity. Even now this wine is a little young. As we made our way through the bottle it softened. I would give it an 88+.
