2011 Chilcas single vineyard Pinot Noir mini review

I tasted this one at the Chilean wine festival and it caught my attention as one of the stars of the event. Garnet in color with a lovely varietal pinot nose. On the mid pallet the wine displays some lovely smooth varietal strawberries to match the nose. On the medium length finish the wine displays some smooth tannins, some nice dryness and some nice mouth grip. I would give it an 88-89 and it’s $17.95 a bottle. It’s available by the case from Via wines
