2010 flat rock pinot noir

The Flat Rock Gravity Pinot Noir is still one of my favorite Niagara Pinots. This one is the non Gravity so a notch down. I checked it out a Corks! Traditional garnet in color with a rustic nose, along with some strawberries. On the mid pallet the wine displays some strawberry and rustic notes to match the nose. The wine is medium in length with some nice Soft tannins. I would give it an 89 or so. Very food friendly. Niagara really does some lovely Pinot Noirs!

Description
Innovative Flat Rock Cellars specializes in crafting elegant Pinot Noir. This vibrant wine is a great introduction with its flavours of raspberry, beetroot, smoked meat and spice. Red wine with fish? You bet! This works well with grilled salmon — or with veal in a red wine reduction.
