Dark in color with a mild dark berry nose … On the mid palate the wine displays some lovely elegant dark cherry notes, along with some dried fruits. Quite complex. On the medium length finish the wine displays some mild dark chocolate notes along with some fine velvety tannins, nice and dry! This really is a complex, elegant wine. I would give this a solid 88, yum, a lovely wine. This was so good, I went back and got more! The LCBO notes refer to mint and menthol, and honestly, if I’d gotten either of these, I’d have returned any I had left, those, for me are NOT pleasant.
