Rocca delle Macìe Campo Maccione Vermentino 2021

Pale straw in color with a nice citrus and minerally nose … On the mid palate the wine spot on matches thee nose with lovely crisp dry citrus notes and minerality coming through. This isn’t as vibrant and sharp as some, but still distinctive. We served it with basa and it went well … just enough bite to hold it’s own without overwhelming the fruit. On the medium length finish the citrus and minerality come through. I would give it an -88 or so … Quite a nice Vermentino, varietal! From the LCBO web site, check stock:
