Dark in color with a mild black cherry nose. On the mid palate the wine displays some nice bold rich black cherries to match the nose along with some mocha, vanilla and oak notes. On the medium length finish the wine displays some nice firm acidity, peppery spice and tannins, nice and dry. This is a bigger wine, but not overly edgy. I would give this an 88 or so.
