Borsao Selección Blanco 2020

Pale straw in color with a citrus/minerally nose … On the mid palate the wine packs a punch with some strong green/grassy/citrus notes along with a hint of grapefruit tartness. On the medium length finish the wine delivers some racy acidity that sticks to the tongue and the green notes linger … A very interesting wine. I have no clue what the mystery blend of this wine is, but I would give it a -88 or so, which for the price is awesome, definitely unique. From the LCBO web site, check stock:

Robert Parker wrote in 2016, ‘My favorite value winery not only in Spain, but in the world, is Bodegas Borsao in the up-and-coming appellation of Campo de Borja.’ This wine validates his enthusiasm with its creamy texture, crunchy acidity and depth of tropical fruit aromas and flavours. Sip it with lightly grilled seafood.
