Wither Hills Sauvignon Blanc 2021

Pale straw in color with a citrus nose. On the mid palate the wine displays strong lime and grassy notes. This is definitely a fruit forward edgy sort of sauv blanc. On the medium length finish the citrus notes and crisp acidity grip onto the tongue. We paired it with a bacon and cheese quiche, and it was not a great pairing. Honestly I think I am outgrowing this type of sauv blanc. I would give it an 87-88. From the LCBO web site, check stock:

Product Details

This dynamic, popular Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc spends some time on the lees following fermentation, which imparts greater depth and texture to the final wine. Intense without sacrificing finesse, it offers apple, pear, peach, grapefruit and passion fruit along with Marlborough’s distinctive herbaceous character. Pair it with grilled chicken, grilled shrimp, or grilled asparagus.
