I love Gruners and pounce on them anytime I get a chance (insuring that they are low in sugar content which most are). I was walking through the LCBO and this one leapt out into my pocket and I had no choice but to take it home with me (after paying for it of course:) ). Pale straw in color with a nice crisp minerally/citrus nose. On the mid palate the wine has a hint of effervescence along some lovely minerality and zesty citrus notes to match the nose, nice and dry just the way I like them. On the medium length finish the vibrant acidity and citrus notes dance on the tongue. This is a lovely, food friendly, varietal gruner, I would give it an -88 which for the price is a bargain.
