FRIND Big Red 2018

Inky dark in color with a smooth black berry nose. On the mid palate the wine displays some rich elegant black cherry notes along with some nice mocha and oak notes. On the medium length finish the wine displays some nice smooth well balanced acidity and tannins, nice and dry. This is a well made, elegant wine perfect for steak or other red meats. We had it with filet mignon and it was delicious. I would give this wine an 88+, definitely earns my yum factor! This is definitely more of a drink now style of wine.
