Bruce Jack Sauvignon Blanc 2020

Pale straw in color with a nice mild citrus and minerally nose. On the mid palate the wine displays some soft citrus notes, some green apple and some noticeable minerality, super dry. This wine strikes you straight off as being ‘different’ … Not the usual grassy, or lemony wine, something a little unique. we paired it with bacon and mushroom quiche and it went well. As it warmed up the minerality, citrus and mouth grip grew, especially without food. I would give it an -88, I think I might go back and get more just for the uniqueness of it, and for that lovely price! A bargain! from the LCBO web site, check stock:

Bruce Jack Sauvignon Blanc 2020 from LCBO

The grapes for this wine come from select prime sites across the Western Cape. They are harvested early in the morning to retain freshness and lift. The result is a wine of verve and tension, with green apple, orange citrus and wet stone. A zesty option for seafood or prosciutto-wrapped bread sticks.
