Mastroberardino Falanghina del Sannio 2018

Pale straw in color with a mild citrus nose. On the mid palate the wine displays some nice dry citrus notes, mostly lime to me. On the medium length finish the wine displays some nice crisp dryness and acidity. I would give this an -88. Another fine patio, summer sipper, rather a typical Falanghia. Given the price I won’t be rushing out to grab more. From the LCBO web site, check stock:

Mastroberardino Falanghina del Sannio 2018 from LCBO

Lithe and crisp, with flavors of crunchy pear, apple blossom and ground ginger, underscored by a tang of saline that chimes on the finish. Drink now through 2023. Score – 90. (Alison Napjus, winespectator.com, Sept. 30, 2020)
