Stefano Farina Barbera d’Alba 2018

Dark in color with a nice dark berry nose. On the mid palate the wine has some vibrant dark berry notes to match the nose. On the medium length finish the wine displays some vibrant acidity, some mocha/dark chocolate, and firm tannins, I would give it an 88 or so. This wine is bigger than I would have expected, quite hardy and maybe even a little young. I like my wines with a bit of bite, so to my tastes, it’s ready to be enjoyed but ought to keep easily for another couple years. From the LCBO web site, check stock:
