Lantides Neméa Agiorgitiko 2016

Dark in color with a mild nose. On the mid palate the wine displays some mild dark berries along with some mocha and dark chocolate nose. On the medium length finish the wine displays some mild tannins along with noticeable alcohol and vibrant acidity, nice and dry. Not a bad wine at all I would give it an -88, perfect for steak or lamb! From the LCBO web site check stock:

Lantides Neméa Agiorgitiko 2016 from LCBO

Good value in a Greek red with a quite fine, well integrated and pretty if not showy nose of red plum/raspberry jam, fresh herbs, underbrush and wood spice. It is medium-full bodied, quite rounded but not at all sweet, with lowish acid and fine-grained dusty tannin. The wood spice echoes on the finish longest. A bit warm, very good to excellent length. Score – 89. (David Lawrason, winealign.com, Oct. 7, 2019)
