2018 Kacab Rebecca Rose

Salmon in color with mild nose. On the mid palate the wine smacks you with bubble gum being the dominant flavor along with some citrus notes. On the medium length finish the wine displays some mild acidity where the citrus notes lives on. I have to say, I really didn’t like this wine at all, the bubble gum was off putting, just not to my tastes. I would give it an 87 or so. From the Wineries web site: $18.55 at the winery

Tasting Notes:

A fun and versatile small batch wine! Savour intense aromatics of pink grapefruit, bubble gum and subtle notes of rose petal. On the palate this wine exuberates fresh and lively notes of pink grapefruit, sour cherry and racy sour candy. Enjoy this youthful and energetic rosé on its own or matched with everything from charcuterie to roast duck or more traditional dishes as barbeque chicken or even mussels Provençal.
