Nice golden color with a nice rich apple and pear nose. On the mid palate the wine displays bold rich apple and pair notes that match the nose. On the medium length finish the wine displays some nice buttery, rich creamy notes and some nice vanilla. This really is a lovely rich, complex, oaked cali chard just up my alley, nice and dry! Perfect for scallops and white fish like pickerel, cod or haddock. It’s not as oaked as some, not as over baked as some, but yummy. I would give it a solid 88. It’s right now $2 off. Grab it now. Pretty sure this will easily keep 2-5 years with no issue.
