2015 Peppoli Chianti Classico

I last reviewed the 2014 vintage of this wine and enjoyed it. Not all wineries can make consistent wine, so I like to follow up reviews when the next vintage is release. This particular wine has been a Vintage essential for a while now. Dark in color with a nice soft red berry nose. On the mid palate the wine displays lovely soft red berries, cherries, and the like to match the nose. On the medium length finish the wine displays some nice smooth tannins, nice dryness and smooth acidity. This is a well made smooth varietal Chianti classico. I would give it an 88 or so. Super food friendly. The LCBO describe this wine as medium bodied and fruity and I would agree!
