Tenuta Sette Ponti Crognolo 2015 mini review

Dark in color with a smokey/oakey nose along with some dark berries. On the mid palate the wine displays some nice dark berries to match the nose, black cherries and some dried fruits. On the medium length finish, where this wine shines IMHO, the wine displays beautiful dryness, firm tannins and lovely complexity. I would give this wine an 88+. It’s 95% Sangiovese and 5% Merlot.
