2008 Kacaba Cab/Syrah

When I originally bought this one I didn’t expect it to last longer than 2015 but find myself with two left. Dark in color with a lovely dark cherry nose. On the mid palate the wine displays some lovely dark cherries to match the nose. On the medium length finish there’s some nice coffee notes and dry velvety tannins. The wine is quite complex and there’s still lots of fruit left! I would give it an 88-89. A very nice wine and still has some legs. I paid $18.95 a bottle and it’s a bargain at this price.
