Marchesi de’ Frescobaldi Tenuta di Castiglioni

Inky dark in color with a nice nose of red berries and dried fruits. On the mid palate the wine matches the nose with soft red berries and some nice dried fruits. On the medium length finish the wine displays some nice dry velvety tannins along with some firm acidity. I would give it an 88-89 a very nice wine. We paired it with BBQ lamb and it went splendidly. It was given as a gift … thanks Semion!
