2015 Mulderbosch Chenin blanc

I last reviewed the 2014 vintage of this wine and enjoyed it. This one is pale in color with a nice crisp dry nose. On the mid palate the wine displays some very nice crisp dry notes to match the nose, some nice citrus and lemon coming through. On the medium length finish the wine shows some lovely crisp acidity that liners nicely in the mouth. Very flexible and food friendly. I would give it an 88-89. The LCBO description aromatic and flavorful is accurate.

From the LCBO web site:
Mulderbosch Chenin Blanc 2015 — VINTAGES#: 675421
STYLE – Aromatic & Flavourful
Ripe tropical fruit aromas with pears, citrus and a beautifully delineated stony mineral component. Fresh, zesty and brilliantly mouthwatering. The palate offers up nice pear, pineapple, citrus and stone with a really appealing spicy complexity. Mouthfilling and textured, with good balance and character. (VINTAGES panel, Nov. 2015) $14.95
