2013 Duckhorn Decoy Cab sauv

We stopped by the Keg and this one was on their by the bottle list so we grabbed it. Dark in color with a nice subtle nose of red berries. On the mid palate the wine matches the nose with some very nice smooth red cherries. On the medium length finish the wine displayed some nice tannins and dryness. This is a nice cab with some nice complexity. We paired it with Keg steaks of course and it went very well. I would give it an 89-90. Sadly not in the LCBO but available from Rogers for $34.95 a bottle by the case. The Keg charged $60 a bottle so the markup was not that bad.

By the way, you can find the distributor for a given winery in Ontario on the Drinks Ontario web site.
