Château Saint-Nicolas 2010 Bordeaux

Inky dark in color with a nice nose of black berries. On the mid palate the wine displays rich black cherries to match the nose. On the medium length finish, right out of the bottle the wine displayed noticeable alcohol and acidity. These faded quickly leaving some nice dryness and tannins. It’s still a bit young I would suspect. I would give it an 88-89. Quite a nice wine. We paired it with a BBQ striploin and it went well. Given the tannins structures this wine should have some cellar life in it too.
