Nk’Mip Qwam Qwmt Chardonnay 2012

Hot on the heals of the tremendous Cab sauv from this winery I decided to take a flyer and buy the chard. Pale in color with a lovely rich varietal chard nose that jumps up at you from the glass. There’s nothing subtle about this one. On the mid palate the wine displays lovely green apple and pear along with some nice buttery and vanilla notes. The LCBO style puts it as Full bodied and rich and they really mean it. The wine is medium in length on the finish with some nice minerality hanging around. We paired it with BBQ lobster and it went like a charm. I would give this wine a solid 90. This is a well made wine. Yumm, another hit from Okanagan!
