Mulderbosch Chenin Blanc 2012

I like my Cheins crisp and dry. This one is pale in color with a lovely nose of minerality. No sugar coming through here. On the mid palate the wine displays some lovely citrus notes along with some minerality and some nice crisp minerality. The finish is on the medium in length with some nice tartness sticking around. I really like wines like this. Very food friendly. You can pair it with lots of things and it will hold it’s own without over powering the food. We paired it with a pan fried Seabass and it went well. Yumm. I would give this a solid 89 which for the price is a great deal!
