Rancho Zabaco Heritage Vines Zinfandel 2012

Dark in color with a nice nose of softer red berries. On the mid pallet the wine displays some lovely soft red berries to match the nose. Think mild strawberry jam along with some raspberries, but not too sweet. This is backed quickly by a medium length finish that displays some lovely tannins along with some nice dryness. The wine is excellent on it’s own or pairs well with red meats. I would give it a solid 89+. A terrific example of a complex Zinf. Yumm $19.95. Get it while there are any left.
