VINTAGE INK MARK OF PASSION MERLOT/CABERNET 2011

Dark in color with a lovely nose of red berries. Sometimes a wine completely steps outside of it’s humble beginnings and price. This is one of those! On the mid pallet the wine displays some lovely varietal cab flavors, cherries and the like along with some varietal plum to go along for the ride. This is a surprisingly good inexpensive Niagara on the Lake cab/merlot! On the medium length finish the wine displays some lovely smooth tannins along with some lovely dryness. The wine lingers nicely in the mouth. I would give this a solid 89-90. For the price this wine is a bargain and a really lovely Niagara red. Yumm.
