THE SHOW CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2011

Bias up front, I love my California fruit forward cabs. Yum. This one is dark in color with a lovely nose of red ripe berries. On the mid pallet the wine displays some lovely red berries to match the nose. Cherries and even some dark berries. On the medium length finish the wine has some fine tannins, some mild dryness, and just a hint of acidity. This is a subtle well made, food friendly cab. Very nice. I would give it an 89 or so! Yumm. Well done.

Tasting Note
Notes of blackcurrant, vanilla and milk chocolate serve as a monumental opening act. The palate keeps the crowd engaged with its backdrop of vanilla and mocha supporting a lifted cherry fruit. Fire up the grill and put your guests front-row centre for this main attraction with some barbecued ribs or wings in a zesty sauce. (VINTAGES panel, May 2013)
