2010 L de Lyeth Cabernet Sauvignon

Dark in color with a mild nose of red berries. On the mid pallet the wine matches the nose with red berries, and some cherries. On the medium length finish the wine displays some lovely velvety dryness along with some nice tannins. This is a lovely well made cab sauv, very food friendly. I would give it an 89! Yumm. Sadly not in the LCBO. I had it at Paradiso in Oakville.

From the winery’s web site:
Visual Aspect: Deep crimson in color
Nose: This is a complex wine with enticing aromas that are immediately evident as it pours from the bottle to the glass.
Palate: Deep crimson in color, the wine spreads across the palate with layers of cherry, blueberry and cocoa. The L de Lyeth Cabernet Sauvignon displays a nice tannin structure.
Food Pairing: Pairs excellently with grilled meats and hard cheeses such as Parmigiano and Romano.
Sizes Available: 750ml
