MULDERBOSCH SAUVIGNON BLANC 2011

I last tasted the 2010 vintage of this wine and was impressed. Pale in color with a lovely grassy nose. On the mid pallet the wine displays grassy notes consistent with the nose and along with some citrus notes. The wine is medium in length. It is a VERY food friendly wine. I would give it an 88-89.

Tasting Note
A perrenial customer favourite, this Savvy brings crisp aromas and flavours of apple, citrus, garden herbs and freshly cut grass. Position this in your mind somewhere between the Loire and New Zealand style. Zippy and dry with a medium body, it’s brilliantly refreshing. Quite food-flexible, this will shine alongside roast chicken, tuna steaks, herbed prawns or mild green curries. (VINTAGES panel, March 2012).
