2009 St Francis Chardonnay

We had this one as the reception wine at the Society for American Wines George Restaurant tasting! Golden in color with a lovely rich chard nose. Some nice butterscotch. On the mid pallet this wine has lovely varietal California style all over it. Lovely butterscotch and vanilla. On the finish the wine has absolutely no bitterness. The Oak is well under control and the finish is medium in length and builds nicely in the mouth. This is a lovely chard for the price. I would give it a solid 90 and right up my alley. Yumm!
