Borgogno 2000 Barolo Riserva

Trialto recently held a Borgogno Barolo tasting at the fine wine reserve!

Dark in color with a mild nose of dried fruits. On the mid pallet this is a smooth wine with dried fruits coming through. There’s some nice dryness and some pucker power. It is well integrated with fine tannins on the medium finish. I would give it an 88-89. Available by the half case for $115 a bottle from Trialto, not in the LCBO.

The winery.
