SUR DE LOS ANDES RESERVA MALBEC 2007

Dark in color. With a nose of red berries. On the mid pallet the wine has a strong red berries taste, not fruity but definitely noticeable. On the finish the wine has strong firm tannins and bright acidity. This is a bit of a harsh wine even for a Malbec. Oak is present and noticeable. It has a medium finish. I would give it an 88 or so. Based on the rating from Parker below I was quite interested in this wine. I would say it did not live up to the hype.
