2007 limited edition Magnotta

I got given this one for Christmas. The wine is dark in color with some black berries and plum coming through on the nose. On the mid pallet are some plum and cherries, reminiscent of a Merlot. This is more of a fruit forward wine for sure. On the finish the wine is medium in length with some firm tannins and some oak coming through. It was an enjoyable wine for sure. I would give it an 88-89. The wine is not available in the LCBO but is available at the winery for $19.95. We paired it with a venison roast and it went well. Thanks Ray!
