STONELEIGH CHARDONNAY

Another wine from the New Zealand Wine fair. I’ve had a number the Sauv Blanc before and enjoyed it. This chard is darker in color and is mild on the nose. The bouquet is smack on varietal chard albeit a little on the milder side. On the mid pallet the wine is a middle of the road chard. Lovely nice fruits, some butter and some cream. On the finish the wine is medium in length. This is a very nice subtle, well made chard. I would give it an 89-90 or so. A good deal for the money.
