FRESCOBALDI CHIANTI

Ah Thursdays at the Keg. Sarah took care of us this week and she enjoys reds and likes this one. I decided I would give this one a try. The wine is dark in color mild on the nose with some oak, smoke and dark fruits. On the mid pallet are some subdued dark fruits to match the nose. Cherries mostly come to mind. On the finish the wine has some lovely dry tartness with some tannins. This is a pretty good Chianti, although the fruit is a little on the subdued side. I would give this a solid 89. It paired well with the steak! I think the one I have listed below is the one … Thanks Sarah!
