JACKSON-TRIGGS SAUVIGNON BLANC 2008

We were over at a friends house and this one was on table. The wine is very pale in color and quite mild on the nose. On the mid pallet are some soft sauv blanc flavors, some lemon, no grass, no tartness. On the finish the wine is quite light with not a lot going on. This is a soft easy drinking, very food friendly wine, but nothing all that distinctive either. I would give it an 87-88. There’s not a lot to like or dislike about this wine. It would make a perfect summer quaffing wine, especially given the price. If you have folks coming over that are generally not wine lovers, this one just might be a hit!
