Locust Lane Chardonnay 2019

Slightly golden in color with a mild nose. On the mid palate the wine displays some bold apple and pear along with some vanilla notes. On the medium length finish the wine displays some mild creamy and peppery notes, nice and dry. Toasty and rich with an abundance of tree fruit. The texture is particularly appealing with viscosity balanced by freshness. Nutty notes add complexity from gentle maturity. Featuring very good length. Tasted NWAC 2021. Score – 90. (Sara d’Amato,, Oct. 2021)
