Domaine Tariquet Classic Blanc 2021

This wine is an interesting blend of a number of grapes I’ve not heard of before so I was curious … Pale straw in color with a mild nose. On the mid palate the wine displays some vibrant acidity, strong citrus notes and the like, the exact flavors were hard to pin down, likely unfamiliar to me. On the medium length finish the zesty citrus acidity and minerality cling to the palate nicely … This is definitely an interesting wine, with quite a bite to it. We paired it with pan fried pickerel and honestly, it kind of overwhelmed the food, so be careful what you serve it with. It’s also affected by temperature, cooler and it will be softer. I would give it a -88 or so. From the LCBO web site, check stock:
