Jean-Pierre Moueix Bordeaux 2018

Dark in color with a mild dark berry nose. On the mid palate the wine displays nice rich black cherry and black plum along with some dark chocolate notes. On the medium length finish the wine displays some nice pepper, FIRM acidity and tannins … nice and dry. It’s a little young, but a little breathing will do the trick. For the price this is a good deal IMHO, I would give it an 88 or so … From the LCBO web site, check stock:

Product Details

Bordeaux’s 2018 vintage was the hottest, driest season in 50 years and produced ripe, opulent wines. This blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc was sourced from clay, gravel and sand soils and is rich and succulent, with savoury herbs, oak spice and chocolate tones. Pair with a burger, or steak and mushrooms.
