Marynissen Cabernet/Merlot 2019

Dark in color with a nice cherry and red berry nose. On the mid palate the wine delivers some nice juicy dark cherries and some black plum notes. On the medium length finish the wine delivers some nice gentle tannins, nice acidity and some mocha notes, nice and dry. This is a juicy fruit forward wine perfect for things like chicken schnitzel, pizza and the like. I would give it an -88 or so … From the LCBO web site, check stock:

Marynissen Cabernet/Merlot 2019 from LCBO

Marynissen is home to the oldest commercial Cabernet Sauvignon plantings in Canada. This blend of 49% Merlot, 36% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc promises plum, cherries, vanilla and a hint of earthiness. It’ll go well with beef stew or game.
