Château Mirambeau Papin 2016

Dark in color with a mild black berry nose. On the mid palate the wine matches the nose with dark berries along with some noticeable oak nots, especially fresh out of the bottle. On the medium length finish the dark dark berries linger nicely along with some mocha notes and smooth, dusty tannins, and nice acidity that coat the mouth. This is a lovely entry level Bordeaux superiore for a reasonable price. I won’t rush out and grab a case but it’s nice none the less. We paired it with LCBO slow cooker lamb shanks and it went well! from the lcbo web site, check stock:
