Wither Hills Sauvignon Blanc 2019

Pale straw in color with a mild citrus note. On the mid palate the wine displays some nice tart notes, vibrant acidity with some nice lime notes. On the medium length finish the wine’s acidity and lime notes live on nicely, nice and dry. This is a lovely, varietal food friendly sauv blanc. Yum. I woud give it an 88 or so. Wither Hills Sauvignon Blanc 2019 from LCBO

A fresh and ethereal sauvignon blanc, not overly underripe and but very representative of Marlborough fruit. Fresh lime, grapefruit and pineapple liven the tangy palate. A touch of cut grass and wildflower add further dimension. Good value. Score – 89. (Sara d’Amato, winealign.com, July 17, 2020)
