2017 Henry of Pelham Estate Chardonnay (Short Hills)

Golden in color with a nice apple and pear nose. On the mid palate the wine is a lovely rich chard with nice apple/pears coming through to match the nose along with some vanilla, limestone and some smokey notes, nice and dry! This is a vibrant rich well made chard. Not over oaked at all, right up my alley. We paired it with my usual ratatouille pairing, pan seared scallops and it went perfectly. Ahhhh Yummmmmm. I would give it an 88-89, which for the price is amazing. Niagara can make some awesome oaked chards and this is one of them! From the LCBO web site Check Stock:
